Amy Lukken, Sherpa, California Tribe, Interface
Certified Gallup Strength Coach lectures on Social Sustainability... Investing in Human Capital

presenterAfter 20 plus years with InterfaceFlor, Amyʼs life has been filled with a whirlwind tour of duties such as Sales Manager in London covering the UK, Atlanta Territory Manager, Los Angeles Territory Manager, and National Sales Training Manager. However, Amyʼs true passion and current role with InterfaceFlor is her research and public speaking on the “dynamics of generational differences in todayʼs workplace.” Her responsibilities of sharing this invaluable research with communities, organizations worldwide, and InterfaceFlorʼs Global Associates fall under her companyʼs Social Sustainability endeavors. Her current research for the past three years has been focused on the dynamics of having four generations in the workforce for the first time in modern society. This dynamic has caused a clash of generational views and a lack of understanding, clear communication and a cohesive teamwork approach in all industries. Through her research, Amy has discovered that any problems the generations may have are not rooted in a lack of communication but rather in a lack of understanding of generational differences, behavior, communication styles and perspectives. As a certified Gallup Strengths Coach, Amyʼs gift is in bridging the generational gap by helping others discover their natural God given talents, matching their talents with the appropriate role, and then dissolving generational differences by leveraging team talents of all ages. Amy refers to this role simply as “Investing in Human Capital.”
